(andPOP) - After three days a member of a jury, Oprah Winfrey is free to return to her talk show. Winfrey and 11 other jurors found Dion Coleman of Chicago guilty of murder.

"It was not any easy decision to make," Winfrey told reporters outside the courtroom. "All of us have taken to heart this decision."

The trial would have went almost unnoticed had the billionaire talk show icon not been selected as part of the jury.

She plans to do a show about her experience, she said.

Winfrey, and other jury members, were paid $17.20 a day, far less than the thousands she takes in. She called the experience a "reality check" but did not complain about the process, other than to say she was not enjoying herself.

Coleman will be sentenced next month and faces 45 years to life in jail for an incident over a $50 bill, which resulted in the death of Walter Holley in 2002.
