Tokyoflash Releases Rouge Watch

(andPOP) - Yesterday, Tokyoflash launched Rouge, their new watch that features LED lights and interconnecting LCD blocks. Instead of conventional digital numbers displays or hands, the Rouge watch shows time by illuminating bars on the watch face that correspond with numbers placed around the ring of the watch. The LED lights are sectioned off into various blocks and rings that indicated different intervals of time.

The outer ring of small LCD dots on the face of the watch represents minutes, every fifth dot being slightly smaller to distinguish five minute groups. The ring of large LCD light blocks on the rim represents the rough minutes, the position of the gap indication approximate minutes in groups of five. The inner ring of LCD blocks represents hours, the position of the gap in the ring showing the current hour as on a clock face.
